The members of the Oconto County Genealogical Society are dedicated to helping each other discover as much about their families as possible. We have had several successful stories of discovery. We are enthusiastic about helping other genealogists, even those who aren’t members, to find genealogical success and are happy to check our local resources for them. Although we will do our best, research is done by our member volunteers so we may not be able to perform in-depth research for you. We will do lookups of Oconto County records by traveling to the court house, or obituaries in local newspapers. We don’t charge for helping you with your research, but donations are greatly appreciated.
